“The Lady” cake stands 22″ tall, and was made for Cake Central Magazine’s fashion issue. I was thrilled when the magazine asked me to create a cake, and even more thrilled when it was published! Yes, she is edible. Her face, arms, hair, etc., are made of hand-sculpted modeling chocolate. She sports a pearl barrette, and carries a pearl and golden rose necklace in her hands. Her shawl, lace skirt ruffle and the base cake swags, cameos, ruffles, etc., are made of gum paste and fondant… also edible. It took many hours to create my lady cake, but she was more than worth it!

This cake was absolutely beautiful. I cannot imagine the time it took to create. The details were amazing-so amazing that it was featured in a magazine!
